Having previously see some vids of CGT's with straightpipes, I was unsure if I would like them. But honestly, after hearing the clips posted up earlier in the thread, I can say that they make my favorite automotive sound. That is just re-fukin-diculous. I would crap myself if I heard that comin up beside me. Congratulations...truly (in my mind) the ultimate dream machine.

everyone, its a steering wheel that is licsenced out so you can pick it up from, EVO, Gemballa, FVD there are a few more companys. i guess it comes down to what logo you want on yours as it has one on the bottom of the wheel. i put a silver steering wheel crest on mine. yes you can get it custom stitched in deviated stitching, but it will be a wait. i believe FVD web sight has some in red and alcantera. go to fvdusa and search "steering wheel" you should get like 12 pages of options.

its custom, but the top grill is from techart made for the cgt, the radiator holes seemed too small on the stock so i based the new holes off the 997TT techart gts kit, minus the leds ofcorse (from the pics they look larger, but they arent), and added the lip to increase down force. i was helped by a friend who does aerospace engineering, he's actually working on some other parts for me, but it requires some time on the CAD.

Eric, I would like to say that your GT is the finest example I have ever seen.. You quietly go about your business and set trends for the rest. Congratulations and great job on enhancing an already beautiful machine!!

Hi everyone.

Well I've now had the opportunity to drive this car and I am very happy I made this purchase. Granted I will never ever drive it like I would a TT or GT3 as I am too scared and I can only imagine the cost of any body damage

With that said I still plan to drive it as much as I can and even track it. I will be going to Thunderhill this Friday but will take it very slow. I have yet to really take any turns in it and I am saving a track day to better understand the car.

In regards to my initial impressions, 1st gear is pointless but once you hammer into 2nd and 3rd, holy batman!! The car with the straight pipes is truely intoxicating. There is also no lag at all. Power is immediate!

Ok, time for some pics

and parked outside my work
