Anyone with a 6 GT3 running Supersprint pipes?
Drew first off congrats, I want to see this on Saturday and maybe a little romp at some point, I do have a soft spot for 996 GT3s. Secondly there should be no talk of mufflers other then headers and then straight out, I don't want to see a license plate on this car, we have had this discussion there is no fun to be had on the street after the amount of time you spend on the track. So F the street with the GT3 send it to Dougherty's get the carpet out, the stupid creature comforts (radio, speakers, amps, wires running to each component, AC etc), get some real race seats and sell whatever is in there, a full cage not just a roll bar or harness bar, put a new suspension on, different compound pads, some light weight wheels, and race it. Come join NASA get some outside PCA racing in. That car wants to be driven. If you want I can help you put her on a diet I just took another 30 lbs out of the M3 yesterday. I know we can find a good couple hundred pounds of crap to pull out of it. We will talk about this more.
I've had muffler by-pass pipes and think it's too loud for daily usage. You do save a lot of weight tho. Cargraphic is the best system I've heard (only heard febspeed and stock so far. lol. Not a lot of 6GT3 around here.). Congrats on the new car, Drew. CB is my favorite color!
Really, how come?
Juan, you dont have a 6 GT3 do you?
