Strange Sound At Starting my GT3

It doesn't happen all the time and it only seems to happen when I 1st start my GT3 after a day or more of inactivity. While the car fires up I hear what sounds like a metal belt or chain sliding or rubbing against metal . It lasts all of 1 second and then stops and I never hear it again for that day. After the 1st start it never repeats until I start the car the next day and sometimes it's fine for that day. I have 1300 miles on my '08 and I was wondering if any of you more experienced drivers have an idea what this might be????? Thanks for your advice. The car runs great otherwise no complants.
