Sure it's got 22k miles, but have we really gotten to this point? Well-optioned, too..

Unfortunately I'm really not in the market...but really, what could be wrong with a 6-year old GT car sitting at a used car lot in the Valley?
Anyone else going to go kick the tires?

You know with the 997 GT2 hitting the pavement in the US the 996 version had to take SOME kind of price hit. AND I have heard that GT2 prices for lower mile versions were going in the lower than 100k region so this is not THAT out of the ordinary.
IllM3 what I have heard is the few 996 GT2s hitting auction are getting in the 85K range.
Hey if someone wants a GT2 badly this could be a no story car. The Seller could easily be thinking 22K miles is ALOT on a *GT2*and the new 997 GT2s are out, I better sell now and at a good price! (22k is the death song for a Ferrari) I dont think this is a whacked out story nor do I think it HAS to be damaged or have a story. But it does need to be researched if someone was going to buy it as we would on ANY car.

I think you are right, the price is too low...
I haven't seen any other GT2s in 22k miles range. How do you guys know it's too low so it must have a story? As for me, I don't care about Gen I PCCBs needing to replace as I swap mine out for better quality steelies anyway.
There have been MANY for 20-30k.. There was a black one with 30k miles selling for 99, then dropped to 95 and sold a few months back!
I like this one. Wonder whether they will take 90. Too bad I'm not in the market yet.

If you click on the Vehicle Presentation link, about half way down it says
"REAL FACTORY GT2! 456 HP! SPORT SEATS W/PAINTED BACKS, YELLOW CONTRAST STICHING, CARBON FIBER & ALUMINUM PIECES, CERAMIC RACING BRAKES! Vehicle has accident history but shows great, virtually impossible to detect. Call for details."

Suspension setup is key to enjoy the 996 GT2. Great article in the recent English Porsche Magazine. I believe you can buy them in the $80k range with some miles. A true supercar for less than $100k after suspension work and some "tuning"!
