Great read great insight. I wish I was you, although as much as I am envious of your RS I will settle for my GT Silver std GT3. I too dont think I will ever sell.

Well, as you know there is basically no difference in performance. I am seriously thinking about getting a used ,not exotic car for the Ring and keeping it there...Maybe a Mazda MX5 or something like that. Its commonly done. Then I could go a few times a year, and maybe just bring a Porsche when I get a new one. I will not sell the current RS but I am first on the list to add a 998 RS if and when it appears, (not the facelift car). You can have amazing fun at the Ring in more modest machinery.

Actually, it is pretty common to park cars there. For myself its just 90 min from home but sometimes I meet people there with rented parking lots living far far away...
However, it's always a mess on the weekend. I would recommend to every visitor to come during the week.
This afternoon I am flying back home from work (suxxs) but tomorrow 08.00 AM at the bar

The end of the sage was that I picked up the car Thursday from its long voyage and its now back in Toronto.Probably not going to do it again with this car, though certainly returning in 2009.

wow what an amazing article.. i plan on doing the same with the M6 Kelleners sport next summer.. i will be shipping the car from lebanon to germany to drive it on the ring and revisit my tuner in dinslaken.. i will pm in a few months if you dont mind with some technical questions..
on a side note, why wouldn't you take the car back to the ring?
