Why would you want a Recaro Hans or OMP 'Hans' seat in your street car?

Get the GT2 seats.

Are you saying the Cup Seats look like the Recaro Hans? Please explain

Is there a reason why the Cup seats cost more than the GT2?

A true Cup Car seat was Recaro, it's now OMP. These are from the factory.

I guess a lot of companies like to name their seat "Cup Seat" etc. Here's a Recaro Hans and an OMP.

See what I'm getting at? Not very street able seats.

What's the weight on both? If you get bored with either one, hit me up and I'll buy it off you.

Do the GT2 sports buckets have a latch mechanism? I seem to remember when i pulled the finger loop on the rear of the seat, which was statically affixed, the seat leaned forward.

Very interesting thread. As I saw it I was not sure if I wanted to get involved.
I have lived a nightmare now for almost a year. The seats are gorgeous but I've reached my end-point.
I must say one thing. Thank you to Ryan from Speedware. He made a great effort to help me out.
Right now I'm trying to dump the seats.

Anyone thinking about seats and if you are considering daily use, comfort and track use, then go for the new GT2 seats. They are beautiful and fit perfect. I have seen and sat in them. I'm impressed.
That will be my next move after more engine work.

I'm sorry, are you referring to the Cup Seats as nightmare?

I apologize, the issue has me so upset I'm not making sense.
I am referring to the Sparco DTM CF seats.

I have the GT3 carbon seats in my RS. I have no issues with comfort. I was debating on getting the GT2 seats, but they weren't out yet and I was too impatient to wait for them. Either way, you can't go wrong.
