After reading much about the RMS that some of you guys are experiencing, I was counting my blessing as my GT3 seemed immune after 35,000 km and 18 months of daily use ... until last week. Noticed the ominous puddle under it from a distance (good thing the mall's parking was empty, I might have missed it otherwise!).

Took it to Porsche the next day: turns out the rear AND front main seals are leaking! Car is with them, they will take care of it under warranty, but it will take some time to drop the engine and repair both (Ramadan reduced working hours and all that...).

I read a lot about the fact that the RMS happens more frequently in cars that are not driven regularly. Mine is, although this summer I left it in the garage for two long periods of 2+ weeks each, as I was out of the country. Maybe this is what caused the leaks???

Anyway, I will let you guys know how and when this is fixed.

BTW, does anybody else have this problem of the front main seal leaking as well?
