Well Ladies and Getz, today I had a chance to race against a F430 Scuderia, well let me tell you... my car is a 2007 GT3, RS Flywheel, AWE Complete Exhaust and NO ecu reflash. 1st gear next to him head to head, 2nd Gear Next to him Head to head, 3rd gear Scuderia Starts moving forward 4th gear Scuderia 2 cars in front of me and 5th gear 2 and a half cars in front of me... What a race! That Scuceria IS FAST! sounds like a Formula 1 as well as shifting... very very very nice!!! I do not have a video... but it was a very good race! we did 4 runs all the same...

At least we kept up for the first 2 gears. The Scud is also a light car with more hp & torque than the GT3. Great race nonetheless.

 

your car must be very quick.....i thought scuderia was much faster than a GT3,especially with launch control on

thats right...but 0,7sec for the 0-60 is big difference,and in this race untill 3 rd gear both cars was together(so more than 60mph)....so,or his GT3 is quicker than 4,1 or scuderia is slower than 3.4.........from my experience with my modded GT3,i have seen 3,75-3.9 many times from 0-100km/h(0-62mph)...that's porsche rules

 

You did pretty well! the Scud is GT2 fast.

i have a bone stock 07 gt3 and it is significantly faster in a straight line than 360 challenge cars that have no interior or exhaust systems. i ve been at track where my car pulls away on the straights before they go away on the curves with slick tires. dont doubt it would be close with a street scud in similar setting. wouldnt compare in a drag race though since ferrari has launch control and paddles

 

Here are the differences Bteween the two cars you mentioned....

Modena 360 Challenge Specs

419 bhp @ 8500 rpm

Weight is 2822 lb

F430 Scuderia Specs

510 bhp @ 8500 rpm

Weight is 2775 lb

They are not the same.... or close to each other.....

Maybe the Scuderia driver short shifted it?Do you know the driver or you just meet his car on road then raced?It hard to believe.Scuderia is a fast car.

Look above video!The Scuderia could keep up before 3rd gear with a CCX.Do you wanne try a CCX?!?!

Anyway GT3 is not a car designed to do this sort of straight lane race.Keep up with the scu on track would be more fun.

The scudera Ferrari is way betond the Porsche GT3.
I love my GT3 but there is no way a GT3 can hang with a scudera.
I am sorry. Maybe the Ferrari driver was incompetent.

Do it again and video the encounter. Advise, pick on a lesser opponent.

ferrari is notorious for exagerated weight claims. i would bet the scud with fluids is similar to gt3 at 3200 lbs. scuds advantage comes more from transmission than hp, imo. btw, scud is my favorite car in world
