So what's the price likely to be in a year, on say an 04? I'm guessing the price will be lower.

Would like to locate one in silver/black in roughly a year. Already have a space reserved in the garage for it!

my dealer told me that PAG has said that "everybody who wants a car will get one". so there's no reason to pay over MSRP. as such, i don't see how any resale units while production is active should fetch over sticker (unless you're really impatient!).

doody.

This is a Porsche. It should not surprise anyone that these cars do not command a premium. Most owners would do well to take reasonable losses on resale.

The TT was the last car that showed any "legs" in the resale market and Porsche snuffed it by doubling production.

$50 under is about what I'd expect to. Any thoughts on where prices will go from there?

If they were expected to remain relatively stable after year 1, I'd bite. But, if they just keep going down, I'll wait longer...

Exactly, Over a year ago when people were on the forums were ng that Porsche was only going to build 1,500 CGTs I personally read a letter directly from Porsche that stated they will build the CGT to suit demand, that tells you that they would not commit to any set production number, on a car of that price thats unacceptable and was the deal braker at that time, no care of value for the customer.

Justin, do you by chance still have this letter, a copy of it, or anything? I'd be extremely interested in seeing it...

Thanks and greetings,

I dont think so, at the time we were at the dealer and my father was going to order the CGT and that was the point of holding off.
