Lets hear it.

If you have a 997 GT3/997 GT3RS/997S/997 4S .. and you downsized to 18" wheels for the track...

WHAT TIRE SIZES DO YOU RUN FRONT & REAR?

Is your avitar/sig photo with the 18's? Do the tires equivalently visually fill the wheel wells versus stock?

Great question! Would like some good pics of the GT3 with the 18s if possible.

Thanks,

Just picked up some 19x9 and 19x12 Dymags. Do any 18'' Wheels work with PCCB?

CCW Wheels 18" fit PCCB and GT3 calipers.

Verde, for 18" wheels, going from 19" you should keep the same outside diameter. So basically without getting into a long mathematical explantion on how tire sizing works if you run stock from the factory:
235/35/19 front and 295 or 305/30/19 rear then for 18" you should run
245/40/18 front and 305/35/18 rear. Some are runing 265/40/18 fronts

If you do the math, 245/35 front with 315/30 in 18" Hoosier is closer to the stock front to rear ratio than the 245/40, at least in Hoosers. Plus, if you are on the track, which is the only place you should be running Hoosiers, the shorter tire diameter, front and rear, gives you a lower center of gravity and better gearing. IMHO

I run CCW 18", which werer made to handle the PCCB's, with R-888 of 245/40/ and 305/35's, front and rear.

Yes, I had heard 315/30/18's for the rear. Is that right? I'd want to match (and if not, just barely exceed) the OEM tires I have which are the 19" 305's.

There is a new Hoosier 255/35R18 that combined with the 315/30R18 makes a good match for the 997 GT3/RS/GT2.

I ran my fastest times with 240/270 Michelin on 18"x9" 18"x11" wheels.
