What is a fair price for a GT3RS

I saw an 07 GT3RS listed for $119k with 7,000 miles. Seems too cheap.

I've been closely watching Ebay sales for a good long time time and $119k looks like a good price for a 7000 mile car. There haven't been a huge number of recent sales but I believe most RS's with ceramics and low miles are still bringing MSRP. Of course, in this economy there will be a few fire sales as well.

You may see them advertised at MSRP or + but I highly doubt any knowledgeable buyer is paying that. Regardless, PCCB or not RS prices are below MSRP and falling. The newer, faster and arguably better one is right around the corner at MSRP.

once you're over lets say 2, 3000 miles, you fall out of the interests of the 'collector type'. no question about it, those cars can handle TONS of miles, and 2,3k is a drop in the bucket, and for 119k, if that car is in good shape, its the best fun o ucan have with 119k....

but i've also seen 2,3k mile cars go for 4,5,10k more. might be worth spending 3% more and getting a car with 60% lesser miles.

they are awsome. get one if you can.
and im not one who believes the new car will be better. 996s, in my personal opinion, were not better than the 993s. in my opinion. time will tell though.

there are many interested buyers and fewer nice low mile cars every week so I dont expect prices to keep dropping. plenty of blk cars around it always seems but green orange silver a bit tougher especially if you want it with low miles and nice options.

I'm inclined to agree with you. In fact, I've been working on buying this car since Saturday and I'm leaving before daybreak tomorrow for the drive from the top of Virginia to the bottom of South Carolina to pick it up tomorrow.

I think it's a tremendous value. I'm not a collector and the car will be my daily driver, so the mileage isn't a problem for me.

I also agree that the newer models aren't necessarily better, particularly with the 993 versus 996. I have a 993 Turbo and when I bought it, I could have spent less on a 996 Turbo, but the 993 represented a better value in many respects.

The one that sold for $99K had 23K miles IIRC.

Sounds like a reasonable buy as long as it checks out clean

Depends on the quality of the miles. A car with 7,000 track miles would look a lot different than a car with 7,000 weekend street miles.

What are the options? Mine came fully loaded and probably one of the higher original MSRP...this is the ballpark figure.

It it checks out in top condition, I'd say go for it!

The $99k was my car and it sold for way more than that.
