gt3 sound, why does it sound so good?

Can someone explain what makes a gt3 sound so different from any other n/a 997?

Even without a sharkwerks bypass, I havent heard anything that sounds so good...

What is it?

High revving... light weight components and so forth... Nothing comes close on the 911 platform:

But it does get better... this might help:

^the first thing I did was a sw bypass...awesome...thanks for the black tips too alex, they complete the package.

I was just wondering, technically, why the sound is so different...

Actually it does end up sounding a bit different because of the flywheel. It revs faster

Do it. I know for the new gen GT3 because of the added mass of the 3.8 pistons they took some weight off of the dual mass flywheel but a single mass will still be the best way to go I reckon.

Will this same one work on the 2010 GT3 or are there some differences?
I know the 2010 GT3 comes with the dual mass one and I'm interested in a single mass one, thanks.
