Any chance of a discount on my 2010 GT3?

Ok... I have a car that is due to be delivered to me this weekend.... 997.2 GT3 which I spec'd out months ago. My financial situation has changed and I am right on the borderline with this deal..... literally every dollar counts.

I went by my dealership and they have 2 Gt3's on the floor that customers backed out on. If I back out on mine, that will make 3.

What are the chances that I will be able to get some money off MSRP??

I dont know if it matters, but the sticker on my car is 142k with no PCCB's so that means ALOT of options!

thanks!

Well, not sure how it works in your state, but in PA, deposits are fully refundable. Did you put a deposit down, and if so, can you get it back?

Take care of yourself first. No sense in putting undue financial stress on yourself -- even if it's modest stress. You seem to have some great cars (and plane), so you should be enjoying yourself on the road OK.

I say, who cares about how many people backed out -- what matters is -- given what you know about our financial situation today, would you have ordered the GT3? If the answer is no, backout, and come back later when you're ready.

Wow, thats some sensible advice!! You sound like my father! haha (thats a good thing).

I am a repeat customer so I actually never had to put any $$ for a deposit. My point about the other GT3's is that they would be more inclined to work with me to make my deal happen considering they have 2 others on the floor.
