GT2 RS Rumors?
the GT2 RS was referred to in a recently issued official Porsche brochure for the 2010 Driver's Training programme. i believe its on page 34 of the said document.
the PDF of the brochure has been posted on the web recently.
exactly WHAT the car is, there's been much speculation.

Yep. It's coming, and I have spoken to someone very high up that told me to "save my money". I don't have any more specifics except about a 200-400 lb. lighter car. I hope it has more than 570. And if it doesn't, I will make it that way.
Thanks everyone for the information. I talked to PCNA and they said, although not official -
(1) It may not be coming to the U.S. (like the 996 GT2RS)
(2) It will be about 300-400 lbs lighter - lexan windows, carbon body components
(3) Although pricing is not solid yet, is in the range of 250K euros right now, probably will be about $250K if it comes to the U.S.

I doubt it has PDK. Gonna have to be real "bad" to be worth $250k. That's $100kplus more than 997 GT2. Sounds like carbon everything.
I agree, doubt PDK. $250k base wouldn't be surprising, considering the GT2 base was like 190s right?
I mispoke on the price. Most GT2's of 08 went with an MSRP price of $210k to $230k, so the $250k number seems possibly low considering Porsche. They produce a PDK car with 570 to 600 hp and we are talking about a serious track time car. I'm not trying to take away from a manual, but the PDK would be faster without a doubt.
Really???? Man that is some serious car news. Isn't 7:20 like major league fast?
