picked up a new gt3 - pics inside

Beautiful car....congratulations! I also have a Dinan M6 and you will be amazed at how different the GT3 drives....You'll be addicted for sure. The next 3 mths will seem very long though...
thanks for the complements guys!
For me - the front lift system was necessary. I live downtown in a highrise, and will be parking her in a multilevel garage. Not to mention I'm trying to use this car for a warm weather daily driver, so I'm sure the lift will come in handy.
m6 vs gt3? well - the weather hasn't been great yet- -but to be honest I grew pretty tired of the smg in the m6. I wanted something smaller, lighter, more agile, and more driver involving for the next car.....the gt3 seems to do all of that....it's tighter, more involving (manual trans), lighter, hopefully more fun on the track next year.
Only problem so far is- - getting used to this weight distribution / handling through turns. This is my first 911 and lemme tell you - it's MUCH different than any other car I've driven.
I'm sure there's a significant learning curve to this, and I look forward to the challenge. Guys on the other forums have insisted on driving school, and I think I'm going to schedule it asap.
Ajag - hope to see you early spring - there's already a couple people scheduling some drives.

Trust me.. Coming from AWD / Front engine to RWD Rear Engine you hit the nail on the head with a learning curve.. I had a quick awakening when i spun my Gt3 on a track i know very well the 1st time out.. But like you said, you must be up for the challenge.. The Gt3 is not numb like the M series feels.. Its responsive and you feel everything you run over.. If you run over a quarter on the road youll know if its heads or tails..

Mike
Wait that is MM hahahahah I actually saved these pics to my desktop to enjoy until I pic mine up
Hahaha I live downtown in Tribeca in a high rise as well... Instead of picking it up to let it rot with all this snow and junky NYC dirty weather.. I told MM to keep it there chillin till early march...
