my new 2008 - late XMas present
I have been looking for months....my 1999 996 was sold last week....that was painful losing a great car. But the pain is completely gone now because Santa came by this morning and dropped this off

My 996 was a cool car. I owned it for about 3yrs. It was my dads and he sold it to me with 22k miles and I sold it with 34k miles. It was in pristine condition and never had any of the problems that are inherent to some of the 1999 3.4 motors. After dumping a bunch of money to make it shift gears better , much better suspension wise PSS9/H&R Sways, better sound and slightly more power it was set up perfect. For a 300hp car it was a blast. I left the body stock - it was a basic plain jane no frill optioned Carrera with a bunch of cool mods on it. I did not want to go overboard on spending even more $$$ that would just do nothing for resale on it.

But my 996 C2 is pale in comparison to my 997 GT3. Everything about this car oozes Testosterone...... It is simply in a whole different automobile category. I am still in shock like a kid in a candy store just drooling over my upgrade decision

nice!! that painted lower scares me though. looks more purposeful in the stock flat black and just a couple of bills if you decide to change
