In Taiwan that is. Got bored and configure a 2010 GT3 in Taiwan and man is it expensive!
America may not have the lowest tax but we sure have the cheapest car price compare with everywhere else. Some Asian country tax something like 300% for foreign auto

Prices in Taiwan are roughly 70%+ MSRP of comparable vehicle in the US, new cars. The used cars as it gets older the prices get closer in both locations I think. From this particular example, looks like base price is 72% higher (US$112k vs 193k), but options price such as PCCB is only 31% higher (US$8,840 vs 11,636).

Exactly ...

Any one interested in moving to the Netherlands? ... I heard the **** mi/yu twins hang out often at the Porsche delaer lol

That's the idea for some but hard way to make a buck. I heard you can bring a car back to Taiwan if you have dual citizenship. Can you imagine selling a used GT3/RS there for $150K and it will be a bargain
It gets worse elsewhere: I understand the base price for 2010 GT3 (not RS) in Singapore is roughly US$365,000. But it helps to rationalise this as a type of lease rather than an outright purchase -- without going into all the complexities, the government gives you a portion of the purchase price back if you scrap or export the vehicle within a certain number of years of initial registration. I wanted to do this with my former Singapore-registered 2008 GT3 but I couldn't import it into the UAE because the steering wheel is on the wrong side.
He should have called me and I could have fixed him up imediately.
that's what we did with liter bikes 10-15 years ago.
