Wow! Wonder which aftermarket company is going to build a more efficient alternator or higher voltage batteries to boost performance? Hum.. are we going to play with magnet, coil and brushes now?

Am I the only one here who thinks that they could offer the 918 Spyder for $200,000 to $250,000? I dont see this car being a Carrera GT replacement. It would be better placed to compete with the 458 Italia and the McLaren.

Your not alone. I agree. Why go into such a limited product. Such a high cost offering would be inconsistent with Porsches intent to produce product that sells well with return. They don't have anything in that 458 market.
