The Official Porsche 918 Spyder Thread
Check this out! 918 Spyder
Forgive me if this has been posted already but I just saw this on Facebook and was in awe! http://www.porsche.com/microsite/int...rnational.aspx
What a beautiful car. I never loved the design of the Carrera GT but always admired the capabilities of it. The design shown here is so much more attractive in my opinion - it's got a Koenigsegg (sp?) look to it.

OT: New Porsche 918 Spyder concept
What's even more impressive than it's good looks is this statement from it's Porsche Press Release:
"..it is planned to provide an emission level of just 70 grams of CO2 per kilometer on fuel consumption of only three liters/100 kilometers (equal to approximately 78 mpg U.S.), which is truly outstanding, even for an ultra-compact city car. This car, however, is intended to offer the performance of a super sports car with acceleration from a standstill to 100 km/h in just under 3.2 seconds, top speed of 320 km/h (198 mph), and a lap time on the Nordschleife of Nürburgring in less than 7:30 minutes, faster than even the Porsche Carrera GT."

WOW definitely creative.....
I personally like the side exhaust and vent opening in the fender..
ONLY problem I see with this IS getting in and out without dragging/scratching,scuffing the edge of that rear fender!
I like everything BUT the wheels!
I agree with you that you can see the Koenigseggs design to it!
