Best place to mount my AMB for track days

For you guys that use AMB transponders for track days, were do you mount them? I am using the recharging model on my 2K10 GT3.

Looking for suggestions on were to mount and pics would be a plus. My idea was zip tie it to the center radiator screen in front for easy on/off use. My only concern was that it would not have a clear signal to the track surface because of the curve of the lower bumper cover and cup car spoiler.

Any help help would be great thanks.

AMB states 10-20 inches from the ground.

Mine is located in the wheel well on my driver side front tire, but its a hard wired unit.

Otherwise before I always taped it to the front bumper vents

you talk about the radiator vent on the front bumper cover? Is that were you were mounting it?
