You also realize that they're making a GT2-RS which will incorporate the best of all worlds, downforce, grip, and power!

But all this will be a moot point if the 918 Spyder gets produced.
GMG exhaust, race cage
FVD ECU, headers
Champion intercoolers and boost hoses
Champion wheels

Not only do I realize about the 2-RS, but I will get the first one at the dealership and maybe the South Region. Already talked to em.

And then I will get a Spyder.

Chuck, can't wait to see the 2-RS. Are you giving up anything in your stable to make room for the 2-RS?

That's a good question. I'm trying to sell my wife, but everyone wants me to pay them to take her. I will likely move the GT2 out. At this point in the economy, I don't know. It depends on tons of stuff. When the 918 comes, that will make life worse. But, I hope things get better by then. Ordering on the RS is about October. Nothing set yet. I am guessing delivery will be like my GT2. Sometime in January/February.

No doubt, was at the dealer getting the GMG Ti exhaust installed and it looked downright bland next to the green 997.1 GT3 and a new gray/red RS. Damn I was seriously drooling over those...but then I got back on the highway and quickly realized why I love the turbos for the street.

No doubt, it looks and sounds great...just wish I hadn't heard it on a GT3 an hour earlier, haha!

I've done a test where I have them both running in my garage at the same time with the doors down. The GT2 sounds way better if it hasn't been started in a while, and you can't hear the 3 running. Once the 2 warms up, the growl of the sound goes away, and all you hear is the thunder feeling of the motor and it's power. The 3 on the other hand, just sounds pissed off all the time. Even more when punched. The 2 doesn't sound like that. On a whole, the 3 sounds better most all the time, but when in the garage enclosed, there is a presence of a 650 HP motor running that drowns out the GT3 inside.

Obviously this type of testing is eventually going to go badly. Could we negotiate a rock-bottom price now on your GT3-RS so I can take it off your widow's hands when it does?

LOL. It isn't a long test, and I have a back door open.
