Yes, that is true. I watch the Long Beach ALMS on Speed and it was better than Patron GT3 challenge but I hate it when they devote majority air time covering prototype

As promised...

This is the first Patron GT3 Challenge race of the 2010 season at Sebring International Raceway. There is no audio of the cars since this is raw video footage but I cut the race down to 10 minutes due to youtube limits. Enjoy!

But at least they still show F1 in HD, MotoGP and World SuperBike, with a smattering of German Touring Car championships and the occasional Australian V8 Supercar race.

But you're right.. they suck Goat ***** in general.. Too much Nascrap.

speed needs to re-think their entire view of race coverage for all race classes

You must be kidding. GT3 is an amateur series. They simply don't have the draw to finance a pro-level tv show. The production quality has nothing to do with SPEED, really. On top of that, they have to squeeze 2 30-minute races into a single 1 hour show. Not easy.

If you think the GT3 coverage was bad, have you seen Ferrari Challenge coverage? Wow.

TV Coverage is one thing. You need viewers, sponsors and public interest. Road racing in the USA has always been a problem due to lack of interest. The whole world watches F1 racing but U.S. participation is minimal even though SPEED always covers it religiously. Americans simply do not have a road racing passion. They like going in circles. What SPEED should offer is an internet stream. The cameras are there. They edit the video live. They have it in their hands. All they have to do is load it on a site, put some advertising space and let viewers log on and stream at a minimal cost to SPEED with an opportunity of some great revenues...

OMG!! LOVE YOUR VIDEO AND SOUND TRACK!!

Thanks for that - what a treat

I am sorry to say but American in general have mess up taste for food and motorsport. NASCAR is much like Domino Pizza. Both are boring, greasy and tasteless but millions love them. Real auto racing like F1, ALMS and GT3 challenge are like fine wine and dinning. European love it but most American are too dull to appreciate these fine cuisine

You should all check out the World Challenge coverage on Versus.. It blows away what speed has to offer..

It seems that if you arent roundy round racing than speed has no interest..

Hopefully there coverage of LeMans will be better.. Oh wait we need to break for NASCAR Winston West practice........... LOL..

Thanks for the videos Lion Racing.

I agree with the lack of coverage for the GT cars in ALMS. It would be better if they had seperate races.
