These cars would be instant collectors item if this was the case.
They did like 250 of the 997.1. Why would they do 1000? Why would they do 95?

Read one well known board (RT) that Germany took 200 units with the remainder of Europe taking another 200-300 units. That's 400 to 500 units not including US sales.
unless you try and buy this car from manhattan motor cars so they can rip you off I dont see why you would have to pay over sticker if this comes out. there are still plenty of dealers that realize it is a bad idea in the long run to try and rip off loyal customers that way.

if infact only 250 GT2 997.1 were made, then it makes sense for them to produce 95 GT2 RS models.
I mean they are producing alot less "turbo S" than regular "turbo".
And i am sure they produce much more regular GT3 than gt3 RS.

Are you saying that Porsche only built 250 Porsche GT2's over two years "World Wide" . I surmised from numbers thrown around on other web sites on Porsche that Porsche may have built about 700 units (all at a time in WW resession). If that is officially the case... 250 units total...I guess I stand corrected

+1, makes sense.
2008 GT2 goes on sale in January, at $191,700. Of the 1300 being made, perhaps only 300 will be coming to the U.S. Better get your name on the list early.
