GT3 rear logo color

Hey everyone,

I just have a query about my 996 GT3 rear Logo.

it is black on my Atlas Grey car, so basically invisible.

is black the only color that these logo's came in? or am i able to purchase one in a silver colour? (or maybe just paint mine). I'd like the logo to stand out more, but if it never came in any color other than black from factory i'd rather not.

thoughs and comments welcome.

sincerely

Looney

As you know, Porsche can have anything in any color coming from the factory, if you $$$

On the 997's you can order it painted in body colour ("porsche exclusive" option). If I were you I'd feel free to paint it whatever colour you want. I think Bumper Plugs guys (this board's sponsors) could help you out with that.

On my white car the black logo stands out quite a bit, I'm tempted to either paint it white (it would still be noticeable, I'm sure) or remove it completely.

It's also sort of nice that most cops can't tell a GT3 from a Boxster - or at least don't know it's not just another Porsh. That doesn't make us invisible, but a little edge now and then can be beneficial.

doesnt really help having an ironing board stuck on the rear though, they just think its 'modified' instead, which to be honest is actually worse (here in Australia anyway)

Red GT3 Badge

Yes, you can get a coloured rear badge on a new Porsche from the factory.

I've just watched mine getting prep'd, picking up Monday am.

I ordered white with the badge being sprayed guards red to match brake callipers and newly out red anodised centre wheel locks.

Code for this was CXX and describe exactly what you want done.

If you pay anything is possible
