But... any GT3 is the best one. The only one I haven't had/driven is the European Mk1 and I'd probably own that too if I could

 

BTM LINE - AGREED!... they all have there own beautiful character...each one molds around each owner like there best girlfriend :-o dont tell the wifes

 

The GT3 is the best street car in the world for me. I think it is also the best street car on a race track, but now that I track a Cup Car, everytime I sit in a GT3, it feels like a limo and the shifter is way too short !

 

Agreed, the RS being the ultimate GT3 ;-)

 

Best car I ever drove or owned. I love it! No need to apologize for your excitement. By anyones definition the GT3 is a pure drivers car.

I had the opportunity to drive an LP560 and I'd say it more for the video game generation. Lots of power but typical Audi involvement (= no driving feel) and heavy understeer as soon as I was trying to do anything fun. Never drove it on the street though. The GT3 you can just sit and go go go go until you run out of gas, so fun you forget everything but driving.

 

dont retreat. i agree 150%. ive owned a couple of nice machines. for what it does, a street car that you can drive full tilt down pit out , the thing comes alive when you cross the blend line.

and you drive it home and pick up some Chinese food afterward.

its awesome. one of the best most capable machines ive ever owned.
