Sharkwerks bypass DB level?

Can anyone tell me what db level the 997 RS is with a sharkwers centre muffler bypass pipe installed.

It all depends on how far away you are from the tail pipe and if the exhaust if going through side mufflers or not. Relatively it is about 20% - 30% louder than stock. You can see my various exhaust sound comparison here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-nip-tuck.html

My results at a local track's stationary sound station test, at 15 yrds:

System closed, 96db at 60% red line gentle throttle blips.

System open, 109db at 60-80%, with aggressive blips

But it sounds ooooh so good

BTW I'm just home from Le Circuit Mont-Tremblant where they have a strict 92db limit on track, measured from ~100ft..... I had zero issues over the 2 day event with my system unplugged (open 100% of the time)

Really appreciate that , thankyou , I have a 105db day on monday coming so hopefully we will pass that!

You'll be a-ok If you get close to just turn the valve closed
