No need to remind me. I know exactly who you are Hopefully we'll see you and JP in the near future. Haven't seen him in forever either. Then again, according to FB, he spends most of his time gallivanting around the country with his wife and daughter

Hopefully I will make it up for cars for the cure. JP will be back in the office this week. I will see if he wants to head north for cars for the cure (like the good old days

any mods planned for the new machine ??? I just installed a stradale TCU in my 360 last Friday and I can not believe what a difference it makes. shifts are much much faster and the downshifting note is just AMAZING. boys and their toys.

I've already been down that road with my last car. I felt like a guy who just blew too much money at a strip joint when it finally came time to get rid of it No more heavy modding cars for me. The GT3 has enough go fast goodies for a mediocre driver like me to shine at the track. Wheels/Exhaust are my new self imposed cap for mods. And I actually like the stock wheels. Although they may be getting powdercoated in the near future. Oh boy, it's already starting isn't it?

Yep, it's too late for you now pal! You are already on the down hill slide! This is worse then any drug addiction or even being a SF Giants fan! Let us know how this all turns out for you.

No need to modify? How bout a LWFW, GT2 seats, and suspension can always be improved upon. Exhaust... whatever there so long as it weighs less. Stick with paint for your wheels if your going to be tracking them.

In time young Jedi.

LWFW will be done when the clutch is smoked. That's gonna be a while, I hope.

GT2 seats are $8k from Suncoast. That's never gonna happen.

Suspension, I have seen some cool bits to improve the suspension thats on there. I have some track days coming up. Going to see how that goes.

Exhaust, thats a must for sure. Will be doing a center muffler delete mod. No more though. I want to keep the sound reasonable.

Now I'm curious... Why do you say paint instead of powdercoating? I always considered PC to be much more durable than paint. Then again, Porsche paints their OEM wheels.

Congratulations Dog! Nothing else even comes close, but I'm sure in time you'll be ready for the mods again (trust me ). You should try to join us at Sebring on July 31st for the SAFE Motorsports event. We will be bringing several GT3s with us from the 996 to the 997.2, bone stock to heavily modded. We will also be heading up to visit RA the week before with Chin if you can get away two weekends in a row.

Enjoy it in good health.

Black stock wheels were cool back when Max did it in 05.
Please keep them silver.
I would do hard back 997.1 GT3 seats on that bad boy.
You can move the seats up and get luggage back there too so don't use that excuse.
Yellow 997GT3 Rollbar?
Evomsit tune?
You don't really need to do much to that thing though......

yellow 997gt3 rollbar? see previous post about making car impossible to haul anything that doesn't fit up front.
evomsit tune? now that is a possibility
you don't really need to do much to that thing though......
