I had installed all the RSS suspension components by Champion Motorsport on my RS. Champion also did the track alignment / corner balance and brake improvements.
The day at Homestead Speedway was brutal. Track temps > 100 degree and humidity off the charts.
Ran 4 sessions of 30 minutes and last session was 1 hr. (combined intermed / expert). The RS was bullet-proof. Handling was surgical and never did anything squirlly under stress. I could but it anywhere, planted and confident. $h!t made me look good.
The brakes were unbelieveable. NEVER a hint of fade. Pedal felt solid. Could go deep beyond 200' shutdown markers. Vettes with monster power on such a technical infield as Homestead would be reeled in under braking and cornering. On guy (pride issue) tried to stay in the throttle to match me and went off the corner.

My boys can't wait to come of age to get behind the wheel. Right now they are go-karting beasts. Karting k!llers, fearless but today was dads day.

Oh btw the Toyo R888's were awesome. Pirelli who? Plus the money savings. The night before the wife and I went to dinner in the RS under a savage downpour and the Toyos were just fine at highway speeds.

Champion has done the suspension setup on my car as well, they certainly do know what they're doing!

 

Great products and those that know what to do with them. The alignment set up and lowering were ballz on.

Ranger, I saw your car on the lot of Champion Motorsport and it was low!!! Good luck driving it around town I had to get my car raised...

 

Juan, is that a carbon vinyl on the roof or full carbon fiber roof? Either way looks awesome!

 

It's a CF wrap. Only comes in a matte look. Made by 3M Di-NOC.
I want to do the hood but this material comes in many lengths but only in 48" widths. So can't cover the entire hood surface with one piece without a seam.
