2010 GT3 - what are the important options ?

Dear all,

I am looking for some advice from fellow 2010 GT3 owners. I am currently looking for one and when looking on the market it seems most are optioned very differently. My question was more on potential future resale value (not my main concern now but in a few years for sure). While some owners have them fully loaded with PSM 3.0, ceramic brakes, front axle lift system, etc etc, some virtually have no options whatsoever apart from the sport chrono package.
While I know I need the front axle lift (due to my slightly inclined driveway), which are the options that you think are a must ? (considering I will only probably track it a few times at best......).
Also I wanted another piece of advice, when I observed the prices of slightly used 2010 GT3 with less than 2'000 miles, the prices asked for examples with fully loaded options versus the ones that have way less are extremely close (does this mean the options you spec on your car just do not reflect when you sell or very little ?)
Thanks for all your input much appreciated
JJS

My first post. Yee ha.

My 2010 GT3 is a month old. PCCB, engine mounts and sport seats. They are the 3 options I wanted and hopefully no more (stock car so it had nav). Will say I love this machine. More fun than my old 996 cup car!

Just get what you want. In a few years options on car wont make a big difference in resell value.

Options never pay back.....if you want options buy pre owned with everything

If you buy new.....

Do not get Sport Crono.....it is just plain ugly and offers no safe value

Get hardback sport seats (if you track....believe these are standard on a RS) if not get standard.....Adaptive sports are just heavy and belong on Turbo's

If you heavy track do not get PCCB...if you track once in a while get PCCB. They are truely awesome, but do cost if you wear them out.

Dynamic engine mounts will bring more peple to buy the car second hand......get these (I belive they are standard on a RS)

Skip the lift, the lip can be replaced. I scrape mine eveytime I drive the car.....they ar echeap and meant to be replaced (and please do not get it paninted......painted lips belong on turbos)

The rest of the colored stitching, fancy nav, fake carbon covered plastic, painted plastic, cow covered dashes are just throwing your money away...........all this stuff belongs on turbos

Save your money for a Sharkwerks bypass and some driving schools.......

If I were buying a car I would get a white RS (sticker delete) with PCCB......

Engine mounts for sure. Skip SC, just plain ugly and serves no purpose. If you're more concerned about resale and don't hardcore track then stick with the no cost standard sport seats.

Full Leather is a must have to me as the plastic dash, doors, etc... is too cheap looking. With full leather comes much more Alcantara; on the lower dash and doors.

They are to the drivetrain connection what PASM is to a suspension. They are also likely a glimpse of the future. Dynamic Mounts provide close to all of the benefits of a solid mount at full boogie with a compliant ride when cruising all with seamless transitions.

an important option is the gt2 sport bucket seats. because if you buy the seats after the fact, the price is double than if you had spec the car with it.
