Actually they started releasing the cars from port the last week in July. I took delivery of mine on July 30. Of course, I live about 45 miles from the port. Some of the folks who live in the midwest probably didn't see their cars until the first week in August.

The delay was purely an EPA issue. There was no problem with DOT.

I'm not sure what you're asking. BY "modifications" I mean changes to the car from how it was when it left the factory, so the rollbar was not installed by PAG. It is a PAG part; a Tequipment item that is a factory option for RoW cars, so it's not aftermarket It was installed by my mechanic at his independent shop. Ditto, the GT3 seats.

Thanks - I should've been more clear. Is the roll bar welded into the car or bolted in? And if it's bolted in, does it require any drilling, cutting, etc. as usually would be the case? Sorry, I'm not familiar with Porsche's yet but trying to change that.

The Tequipment roll bar is bolted in. It uses existing seat belt mounting points, so it does not require any drilling. It may require some cutting of the carpet but, if so, it is minor. It is also an major pain to install, so don't attempt it at home.
