Another 2011 997.2 GT3RS (WC-GT3) by RAC with our WC Header, exhaust and more!

Gents

Just completed by the guys over at RAC in Texas..

Another 997.2 GT3RS with the World Challenge (WC-GT3) performance package.

Once again- Racing improves the breed!! ENJOY!

RAC just took delivery of there 2011 RS and wanted a proven performance package..

Here are a few pictures of there build and the parts installed as well as a quote from Mark Plummer @ RAC about the performance gains with our WC-GT3 header package and WC Sport Center section.

Just as an FYI, this package was developed, tested and PROVEN in World Challenge competition on the 3.8 liter cup cars.. These are the same parts we run on the race cars. The same header design (except we don't run cats) on the race car and the same center section.

By Mark Plummer of RAC "Don't know if you guys have dyno'd many RS's with your headers and center section, but just wanted to share our results.

Stock the car made 392 at the wheels, installed headers (new HD style cats) and your center delete, car made 430.6 at the wheels. Hell of a pick up!

If any of you are in the Texas area I would highly recommend RAC a place you should check out, there level of quality and no nonsense approach to performance has earned them partner status with GMG and they are an authorized World Challenge conversion facility.
www.racperformance.com

Enjoy the pics and video clips from you tube.

Parts installed:

GMG WC header system
GMG WC sport center section
GMG WC sway bar package

New parts

Headers are a direct bolt on replacement unit.. No mods of the car are needed what so ever..

Stock muffler.. Nice but still big and bulky..

GMG WC Sport center section installed with black thermal coat.
3.5" tips give it a more aggressive look also... Center section is fully functional with a balance chamber in between left and right banks to equalize exhaust pulse and not loose back pressure. We also use a megaphone design in the primary tube to help with exhaust scavenge and speed up exhaust velocity.

We also retain the stock mufflers and the stock valve system as testing has shown that the stock muffler design works.

Now the wheels

Stock is nice..

The guys @ RAC did a custom color match and red accents, really changes the look of the car and in my opinion gives it a really aggressive look with out going over the top..

Finished product!! AWESOME!!!!

Of course the interior was treated to a GMG RSR Roll bar /half cage...

GMG WC-GT Mono 19

19x9 and 19x12

Fully Forged.

Some videos..

Enjoy...

Many thanks to the guys at RAC and Mark for putting together a awesome WC- GT3 RS!!!!

Gents

Thanks for the kind words.. The testing was done by RAC with NO software tune.
The gains were obtained by simply bolting on the parts.

I am sure Mark will chime in on his findings.

Thanks again!

+1 on the dyno sheets. Would love to see were the torque and horsepower are.

Now all you need is a lightweight side muffler replacement to save some weight, a ECU upgrade and now you really got something.

Good looking stuff

So this is what Peter Parker drives on a daily basis. Very impressive numbers! Do they headers make the system much louder?

Thanks. What correction factor? SAE, STD, UNCORRECTED?
