Furthermore I'm being given this information re the rotors which differs from the specs shown in the Brembo link below. Also, are the modern Porsche calipers not made by Brembo now? Seems like many people in here say they want to upgrade to the Brembo setup which has me confused???

I am doing research for a project trackcar and that's why I'm asking my questions. So firstly can you tell me the hat heights of the GT3 front rotors as compared to Cup Rotors?

So by looking at your website might I conclude that the pricing on any given package are for both sides of the fronts and rears respectively?
In other words e.g.
StopTech Trophy Big Brakes for a '07 -'08 with Iron rotors is $3095 for 2 front calipers and 2 rotors? How much for the calipers by themselves without the rotors?
What are the main differences between the Trophy and the Sport Trophy apart from dust boots? Are these calipers full one piece Monoblock like the Brembos?

If you do this conversion is it necessary to do front and rear or will just the front give a
measurable performance increase?

 

I would say to do both.....Stop tech changes the brake bias a bit

We have been running them for over a year on our 2010 997.2 GT3 that has extensive track time (and you can see our build, and the replacement of the ceramic w the STR kit here -

We currently run PFC01, and have also run PFC01 on the front, and PFC97 on the rear. We have installed the STR kit on several other customers track cars, including the Porsche Cayman S that we had competing in the GTGP this year.
We have seen no downside at all...and the braking capacity and ability to take massive heat input is amazing. Strong braking, solid feel, takes amazing amounts of ongoing abuse.
We will also be running the Endless pads this coming year.
