2007 GT3 Tune Options
I have a buddy with an 07 GT3, who will chime into this thread later, that is considering a tune on his 3.6 GT3. I have heard many stories from well qualified people that the tune is a full waste of money. Others will disagree. Has anyone had their 3.6 tuned, and how does it help? Need real world applications and driving impressions. Not numbers on paper. He is currently running a GMG bypass pipe.
It's possible that a full race exhaust might be a better investment. On my 2010, I have the race exhaust by Sharkwerks and the tune from Evoms that is specifically designed for the race exhaust. Huge difference. I'm just not sure the same can be said for the 3.6.

We also have a great tune that helps with the mid-range of the car.

Tell your friend to proceed with caution! I started off with one of the very first Sharkwerks By-passes, and then went to the LWF; the next thing I remember was waking up one morning I had a 3.9!! I still can’t recall how it all came about, but I have loved every minute so far and I am very close to 10K miles on the conversion!!

Look where I am today...10k miles on it already? You really are enjoying the car. I'm really happy that you didn't sell it

Sharkwerks is like a crack house! All the places you left coasters have are amazing...Sharkwerks, GMG, BBi and so forth.....seems like they all know what they are doing, have clean shops and excellent tech and most of all great customer service.

I have no experience with 997 GT3 or any GT for that matter. But it has done wonders on my C2S
