which bucket seat?

Hey fellows!

I have a 07 tt with standard seats.
I am 5"11 and I weight roughly 155lbs. I am pretty thin and got small shoulders. I want to get bucket seats for my ride. Which would be the best? GT3/GT2 has the same seats? CGT has it's own seat? Also which one is the most comfortable?!

Thanks!

We have both listed on our website found GT2 Seats and GT3 Seats

Also Porsche has a 20% off MSRP coupon so there might be even more savings...

I am a little heavier than you 5'10" and weight 180 lbs. I have the gt2 folding buckets and love them! They are seriously comfortable for a bucket seat. 996 GT3 buckets were too tight for me across the back, I was not comfortable in them.

I know the folding buckets cost a lot, but they sure are comfortable

If I was your size I'd get the GT2 Sport Bucket Seats (folding back) for 2 reasons:

1- they will keep your side air bag (seat thorax air bag) like in your current seats working and if you have an accident the insurance company can not denai claims or sue you for tampering with the air bag system

2- the GT2 Sport Buckets look better and are more comfortable than the older GT3 Sport seat

i just put in the gt2 folding back buckets and am extremely pleased. very supportive, look great and as noted they are plug and play with the airbag system (no dash warning lights to worry about re airbags).

also, my wife can't stop talking about how much better they are over the standard gt3 seat.

Thanks you all for the suggestions.

So the GT2 Leather Bucket Seats has a quick access holding back just like the regular P car seats so I can get to the rear quickly. Correct?
Newer GT3 seats shares the same seat as CGT and they are extremely light but very very pricey and they are without airbags and cannot be fold back correct?

GT2 leather bucket seats, Are they the same seats as the 2008/09 GT2 2010 GT2 RS seats? Are they the same as the ones at Sun Coast GT2 leather bucket seats??

Thanks!

Wow, nice! But do you find the no recline option okay? I guess you track your GT3RS not a dd. So I can only move forward and back. Then I can quick release to reach at the back. Your GT3RS has GT2 seats has no airbags?

There is the Euro version which is non folding one piece bucket that costs around $12k for the pair.

And then there is the 2 piece folding bucket (more comfortable and wider) which costs between $6-7k depending on material choice. This is what comes standard with the RS in US.
