Question Rear clunk noise

My Gt3 has developed a rear clunk when I go over bumps at slower speeds. It sounds like the front clunking noise that I had that ended up being a loose swaybar. Where do I look and what tool(s) do I need!

Thank you

Karl

GT-3 Clunk Sound

The drop links on the GT-3 sway bars need periodic tightening. It is very common. Most likely it is the bolt at the lower end that attaches to the wheel hub. Not a difficult job if you have a lft, otherwise it may require you taking off the wheel. You can also get a "clunk" if you go over a sharp driveway and one wheel gets lifted off the ground. The coil spring gets moved off it's mount and when it reseats you get a "twanging"sound.

I had the same issue when the vehicle got lowered it was the drop links..... The installers didn't figure that out after two visits, I did after about 10 minutes under the vehicle.....
