Review of GT3 RS 4.0
wow....
I have to tell you guys, I have a heavily modified 2005 C2S, pretty much built for the track. I have more fun with that car than I can EVER explain in words, and I have to drive it on a regular basis or I go into a tailspin
A few months ago, through my friendship with one of the porsche dealership salespeople who sponsored my private track rental, I had the distinct pleasure to drive a 997.1 GT3RS. I have NEVER come down from that high, and it took me a WHILE to appreciate my car on the track again after that...
This new RS I am going to stay away from until I have the means to pick one up, because honestly, I'll be spoiled for LIFE.

I'm not sure you will see these sold quite as readily as the others. It's just a feeling I have.
I totally agree, it's the closest Porsche tied a street car to their racing program since the CGT and the closest a 911 street legal car has been tied to the racing program since the 993 GT2. I'd say, this one will be a collectible. Obviously as of now, it's all speculation. But in Porsche history, road cars that were tied to their racing program have for the most part seen above average collectibility.
