4.0 RS or 430 Scuderia?
NO CONTEST.....NO COMPARISON BETWEEN THE MAKES FOR PUTTING A SH*T *** GRIN ON YOUR FACE
Having had several Porsches including Turbo's the Scud is the real deal.
If you are looking at RS's and like the rawness of these types of vehicles the 458 will be much too soft and well mannered for you much like the Turbo is.
LONG LIVE THE SCUD !!

both cars are amazing and will deliver driving bliss, but the Ferrari is a Ferrari... if that means something to you, get the Ferrari... otherwise save some money and get the Porsche.
Scud is amazing...I was at VIR at the zone 2 event in March and one of our students had a scud...he was a novice driver and had hired a privateer coach for the event. We were all paddocked together at the At Speed Motorsports transporter. He was a super nice guys and getting to learn the car, his business partner was there at the same event with his 997 GT2...we were all just sitting around talking about a similar kind of thing as this post and I think that although the scud is amazing there is something about the Porsche what was missed, he did come from a GT3 I believe so maybe he was missing his old car...
if it were upto me that's a tough choice...like choosing between Megan Fox or Brooklyn Dekker....how can one make that choice???!!!
either way it's a win!

i guess the only easy answer is if you want an F1 transmission... which i must say i am very impressed with. much more refined than the older systems. (i always drive in manual mode, its both smoother and less wear on the clutch)
Thanks for everyone's helpful input. I had a feeling it would be mixed. Am going to go for the 4.0 RS over scud for the following reasons
1. Strongly prefer manual
2. Don't track car but am weekend road warrior
3. Actually prefer styling and interior of 4.0 over scud. It's the front engine ferraris like the 599 that I love the styling of.
4. Plan on holding it quite a while and may have better chance of losing less $ over scud which will be replaced by 458 scud
5. love my 3.8 RS and should like it that much more(but certainly understand not 70-80k more for the upgrade)
6. hard to pass up getting one at msrp at the present time
7. last of the metzger engine gt3s especially with the rsr engine
Just hope the 991 is not that special and they have a hard time getting 8500rpm's out of the DFI engine.

There is no look like the F U look when ur in an exotic. I work hard for my money.
It doesn't bother me having a 355 and a Porsche
The only thing that bothers me is maintaining the f car. Not just money just the time and effort . Ur best friend will be ricambi
This is the reason for my 996tt. Something fun I can drive whenever I want
I have a saying I use in ferrarichat. My Rolex doesn't keep time and my.ferrari is in the shop
Just sayin
