RS Green 997.2 GT3RS in for a few select mods...
Fellow forum member "drl" dropped off his RS Green 997.2 GT3RS to the RSS R&D center (Stuttgart Performance) in Costa Mesa, CA this week for a few select mods.
Great guy and amazing car - I absolutely love the green on this gen2 RS. The car wears it well.
A few simple mods to start with on the green machine...
1. Remove the red seatbelts and switch them out for black
2. Install color matched RSS 930 Series Harness/Rollbar
3. Install RSS Xpipe Center Muffler in black
4. Powdercoat OEM silver wing uprights to black
drl's new baby in stock form arrives at the operating room:

Red belts will be going bye-bye...

We begin by removing the silver uprights to strip and prep them for the powder coating dept.

We remove the seats and certain interior panels in preparation for the RSS 930 Series Harness/Rollbar installation...

Color matched and looking good...

More updates and pics coming soon...

We should get everyone together for a photoshoot. We'll throw a few M&M packages in the shots or some skittles wrappers. Anthony will dress up in his furry costume.

The body painted roll bar always look nice, but it is too obtrusive in the mirror I think. It'll be distracting on the track...
I think the car needs some black wing end plates and mirrors now to complete the look

Don't know if the owner wants to sell his red belts. I'm sure "drl" will see this as he is a forum member. Here is his 6speedonline contact page https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/member.php?u=64404

Time for the stock center section to come off...
There are a number of great options out on the market. The Xpipe comes standard in ceramic coated satin black, large dual tips attached with an incredible sound.
A few pics of the install and a quick and dirty stationary revving sound clip...

Bryan - car looks and sounds awesome! Thank you guys for doing such a great job.
911JDB - I can sell you the belts, but I don't know if they will fit your car. I recommend calling Ryan at Suncoast Porsche (parts) and he should be able to tell you.

Mine is bright blue and doesn't cause any issues at the track. I'm not staring in it much though. Maybe black would be a touch better for visibility, but I don't think it would be noticeable. I like it green!
