Scissor-type car lifts

All you who have these, please advise. I'm putting this in this forum because you guys have your cars up in the air alot, removing, replacing, bleeding, etc.
Thinking about getting a lift to put on/off track tires, change brake pads, bleed brake lines, etc. Would be in garage. Want to leave it in place, and just park over it. Only considering scissor lifts, not post lifts.
1-- Do you have to get a Bend-Pak lift to get a good one? I'm not made of money, and I want to get the cheapest, good, safe lift. In other words, anybody happy with their nonBend-Pak lift?
2-- Is daily parking over it in the garage a problem or a hassle?
3-- Are special arms required to fit the width of a 997 C2S?
4--Are they as easy to use as they look?
5--Any other pros/cons you can add?
Thanks.
BTW, my C2S is stock ride height.

See my comments below:

I had an Eagle Equipment scissor lift for 4 years that worked quite adequately for the purposes you outlined.

2-- Is daily parking over it in the garage a problem or a hassle?

Because of my ride height (6GT3), I constructed "ramps" on each side that lifted my car above the lift. On each side I used two 2 x 12s the length of the lift. I can ask the guy to whom I sold the lift for measurements if needed. With those, no problem no issues.

3-- Are special arms required to fit the width of a 997 C2S?

None were needed for my GT3, so I'd assume none for your car.

4--Are they as easy to use as they look?

Very easy. Plug it in, push the lever, up you go.

5--Any other pros/cons you can add?

You are limited to your stated uses. I replaced my mufflers, and did oil changes, no problem.

Forgot to mention, the Eagle lift was relatively easy to move around. When not in use, I had it parked to one side of my 2-car garage over which I parked the GT3. When time came to use it, I moved my wife's car out, rolled the lift into the center of the garage, and moved the GT3 back over it. Most/many other mfgrs may be as mobile. Whichever you get, make sure it is.

WOW!
Hey, I have a good idea! Let's jump out of a perfectly good airplane when it's really, really high up!
Yea! And let's not open our chutes 'till we're really, really close to the ground!
Bet you have some interesting stories to tell.
Thanks for the service.

You're welcome, my pleasure. Lots of stories (lies), but related to the wings, I had the opportunity to do a test jump from 35,000 feet, cold and dark. Too young and stupid to be scared!

Ok, I gotta ask.
What did the "test" jump find out?! Bad idea, let's not do this again!
(That's higher than Mt. Everest.)
