997.2 GT3 High 80s low 90s?
^^ 991 gt3 is going to be very expensive for a properly optioned one, expect $138k - $140k, imo. we won't likely see one for 24 -30 months. that said, i expect the .2s to hold in the low $100s to $110k for <10k mile cars until the 991 debut. after that i don't see big drops, as the 991 price of admission will be a big jump for many. maybe mid $80s - 90s for a .2, two- two to two and a half years from now, but that is just my opinion.

no doubt the 997 GT3 & 991 are very different car. no one, especially in this section, would make the purchase mistake on 991 over GT3 if GT3 is what they're really after. however, most dealers don't think that way. they only care about selling car to make money. for psychological reason, there will always be the ''new vs old'' debate. when the 991 lands, it's gonna affect the 997 pricing no matter what. there might also be another wave of GT3 owners who trade(down) on a 991. dealers who got them in cheap may turn a quick profit by selling them cheaper depends on economy. good thing is the supply from factory is shot so the market value should hold steady for awhile. the value should go up for perfect cars.
all that being said is just my prediction. i personally would pay more for a better condition car rather than a cheaper & poor example. the current GT3 is a keeper for sure. happy hunting!
