How many miles should a CGT have at Delivery? HELP!!
The difference between new and used at least in my state is "has the car ever been titled" I got my gt3 from my dealer with 127 miles on it. They were very up front said the owner drove it some downloaded the computer to prove no over revs. I had purchased other cars from them I was very comfortable with the milage on the car. Because I was a good customer they also gave me 10k off the car last Oct. How can one complain if you are honest?
While I was at MB a while ago checking out some things, they had just received a pair of SL 65's. One of them had 100+ miles and a letter from the factory posted in the window stating that they randomly pull cars off the line for some testing and this was onw of them. I'd look at it like the car isn't brand-spanking new regardless of where the miles came from. If the computer check shows the car wasn't abused in its early life then it should be viewed as a low-mileage, one-year old car.
IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN THE CAR IS CONSIDERED NEW UNTIL TITLED(I MAY BE WRONG THOUGH,SO DON'T SHOOT ME).IN MY OPINION IF THE CAR WAS A DEMO UNIT IT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED USED,BUT IN THIS CASE I COULD BE CONVINCED THAT IT WAS DONE AT THE FACTORY.
