So today I revisited the GT-3 idea by driving a 2010 with low miles and options. Boy, big mistake ! Now I think I really want one again and am somewhat sorry I didn't pull the trigger on a new one back in early October. Anyway, keep me in mind for any 2010-11 GT-3 (no RS) in blue, black, gray or silver. Wish list includes PCCB, axle-lift and NAV but nothing's a 100% deal-breaker. I looked at all the cars on cars.com and sent a few inquiries out. I still can't get over how responsice the steering was as we were doing 80+ on the interstate. I'm sure there's some room for improvement as a track car hence RS and Cup, etc. but could you possibly need a better-handling car on the street ?

So the WA car checked out nice and thanks to the members who helped and offered to help. I'm negotiating on that, so we'll see. Never to put my eggs in one basket, there's 2 other black cars I'm looking at: one from a member here who messaged me about his car and then has not responded in days (?) and one in Chicago. If anyone is reading this who is in the Chi-town area and can do a visual, please e-mail me at drjimm5@aol.com or send a PM. Hopefully this will result in a car shortly but I'm still uneasy buying sight-unseen and undriven. As always, thanks for the help.

I am shopping for a White or gray one.. and I agree.. it is hard to even inquire about something that is out of my state....

In my buying experience, I was hot on DEM too because everyone said I should have it. I've driven both and I still don't quite get it. Add to that the fact that all 3 of the top GT3 tuners in CA advised me against retrofitting my car when offered the work. I have challenged anyone to provide tangible proof they improve lap times but no one has. I'm sure they are a very nice option but as I was told, "not a deal breaker".
slimkev: if you don't love the car, I'd be shocked. There are several new GT3 owners in Socal here and on Rennlist. Keep thinking I'm going to try and organize a get together and drive. Let me know if you're interested after the car arrives.
