I will be ordering a set of C10s for my silver 996 GT3. They will be wrapped in NT-01s. What finish should I get? Painted silver? Any pics of your favorite color/finish on a silver car? Thanks.

i think I saw a pair forsale for a great deal over in the rennlist classifieds. If your cars silver I would be buying black wheels for track. Black wheels Best suit silver cars

I prefer the look of silver wheels, but for track wheels it makes sense to get black to hide dirt/dust.

I'd do a dark grey/charcoal powder coat

Great track wheel. I guess I'm mistaken but I thought CCW had eliminated making wheels for Porsche applications? Must have been misinformed.

Annodized finish should prove more durable for track work vs powder coat. I believe you have a choice of titanium or black.

You are correct, sir! That's what I ordered yesterday after counsel from John at CCW. The powder coat cannot handle the heat generated from brake debris. I went with the peened titanium. Should have them by next week. Thank you.

Friend of mine bought the black wheels and they turned a funny shade of black/purple.

^ The CCW's flat black finish always look like that, especially in the sun at certain angles. I prefer the gloss black finish for that reason.

Also, I personally prefer the c14's.

Has anyone seen CCW's with the anodized brushed black finish in person? Curious how it looks.
