GEO setting needed
GEO setting needed
Hi, guys:
Mine car is 2010 GT3 RS 3.8, running on 29ps F and 35ps R.
I found the factory setting is a bit under steering, especially when flood in 4th or 5th gear about 130km around highway with big big smooth curve.
Any suggestion on GEO setting to more netural.

HKFEVER You really do come out with some awesome comments
I think my best advice to you is to get out to a couple of track days and learn how to drive a Pcar properly, especially the GT3 and also learn the dynamics of the car before you start playing with the settings.
Yeah, it's great to have R-spec rubber, the best suspension mods etc, but if you're not using them to their full potential "ON THE TRACK" it's a waste of money

regardless of your settings, in big smooth curves, 911's doesn't understeer.
i suggest you floor the throttle, hold on tight. when you get close the outside wall, lift and get the car pointed toward inside of turn and then floor it again. you will be very fast.
these cars only have terminal push for tight turns.
just drive it.

Besides the under steering than I feel, I also feel both rear tires not grip the same when I floor it in 2nd or 3rd gear at around 50km. It seems like tend to not point straight.
As far as I remember, I didn't bottom out, nor hit anything, Porsche center checked and is perfect 3 months ago.

Please check out this GEO suggested by a track rat in HK.
Front: -1.5 degrees camber; 0 degree toe; 8 degree caster
Rear: -1.0 degree camber; 0.2 degree toe in
Sway bar: Front on notch from soft; rear middle
Any comment.

^ depends on your experience and the type of track and tires you are on.
it's a good starting point. just on paper, i can tell you it will push if i drove it. but some will find it neutral some find it lose. you have to drive it then re-align it the drive it and re-align it until you find something that works for YOU.
also, how often is the car driven on street.
if not much, i would increase camber a LOT more and run toe out upfront.
if you drive on street a lot, then, it's a different story.

Mine did that, it was uneven worn rear tires.
