Freshly Mounted HRE R40 Monoblock Wheels on my 996 GT3


Finally got my HRE R40s for my GT and took a few minutes to give the girl a quick bath and shoot some pictures. I am amazed at how deep the black finish is, and more importantly how light they were (18lbs front / 20lbs rear). I've got a fresh set of PS2s mounted on them for street duty. I know the black finish may not be for everyone, but it's been something I've done on all my street cars for as long as I can remember.

Had a Z4 M Coupe that I tracked for a while, then got rid of it to get this about 6 months ago. Waiting on a few more parts to finish getting her setup, mainly a set of KW Clubsports, Trying to make it out in a few weeks for a private event, if I don't make that I'll definitely be there in August with Flat Out.

Can't say I didn't have to photoshop this picture in black to make my decision a little easier Cup bumper and wild header/exhaust combo is definitely in the pipeline.
