My money's on operator error as with most wheel losses.

 

How are your actually blaming the driver for this? He's on the most technical course in the world; this should not happen to the flag ship Porsche.

I thought the recall on this was issued already by just making it tighter.

 

Operator = the person installing the wheels.

 

I would say "operator" error also. I sure hope so.

Wondering if the wheels are going to fall off at 150+ is not my idea of a fun day at the track.

I just read on another forum about another CL failure. I really hope this was not due to failing parts, if so Porsche has f'ed up big time with the CL and need to change this stupid thing back to studs on the next gen 991 GT3...

This is really dangerous considering most of the GT3/RS do get tracked on a regular basis.

The Porsche Police got to and shut it down for damage control I would guess.
