Fair GT3 Price
Fair GT3 Price
Opinions Please - Fair price for:
2004 GT3 - 500 miles, clear bra, carbon side mirrors (factory), EP exhaust, RSR lightweight flywheel, gears (3-6 changed to shorter), RS factory wing (not installed). I am not sure what factory options. I think MSRP was around $110K.
Thanks,
JCM

2004's with low milage and $110,000 sticker are being posted between $92,000 and $105,000. The higher prices appear to be at the dealers which you would expect. What the actual sales price comes out to be is anybody's guess but based on some conversations and e-mails I would estimate around $95-96,000 (average). It all depends on how motivated the seller is to move the car. Given the options the car you note above I would say between $95,000 - $108,000 depending on the seller's level of motivation. I would start at $90,000 and see what type of "reaction" you get.
the one 05 on ebay is 108 window, 103 ask at dealer new.
so a new 04??? 10 less.? my 900 mile car sold stock for about that a few months ago.
who did the gear work and the flywheel? that has value to a narrow group of buyers... and no value to many

$100K with those mods is a steel. If yur not in a hurry to sell, you can find the right buyer, imho. Don't pay any attention to the price sharks swimming around your car like it's chumm. Best of luck. To bad you are selling so soon.

fair price IMO....
110k car
2k clutch
2.5k wing
5k EP .... does the stock systems come with?
Say mid 90's maybe high 90's for right buyer... that would be a great buy for someone looking for a gt3 for sure.... not much else to do gt3 and away you go ... best of luck.
I am looking at buying it, not selling it. I have a 2003 GT2 so it doesn't make much sense, but this is a real nice car.
Watt the gears and flywheel and alignment were all done at the race shop that does my cup car. All the parts are factory -good stuff. I agree on limited market on these mods, but all the stock parts come with it. So you could change it back, even though we both know you never would. It will appeal to a track person, who still wants to drive it.
The car is silver/black. The buyer doesn't need to sell it but said he would if I wanted it as he did all the mods, drove it home, drove it once and hasn't had time to drive it since.

Super since you've said you the BUYER not the seller then I agree with Cig1 start at $85K and move up. Youre not gonna get a 'Real' answer from a bunch of us GT3 owners. I wouldnt let mine go for $100K
edited for misquote
( I would still start at $85K and move up-- that would have worked a couple months ago, there were some on the lot that were going for 92K that were stickered at 100K+ I had a used one done at $85k but then I found mine and pounced--
but since I bought mine I dont know exactly what the markets done. It was slow until just recently)

This one's easy to answer;
Someone with a CGT take it to a number of dealers (because many won't want it) and see what they will give you in trade.
$ to donuts it will be south of $350K. They just don't want to put the money into them.
The ones that I've seen at dealers are on consignment..proving the point!
