I'm glad that it's well optioned on the interior as it should be. The additional carbon and deviated stitch should come stock on the top of range car.

I'm not sure, but I've seen an orange one as well. Are we sure they didn't offer the RS 4.0 with Paint To Sample as an option?

 

What would be my options if I wanted to get my GT3RS wheels painted in this color? I've heard so many different things, no powder coat, yes powder coat but only by experienced shop, paint don't PC. This color is awesome. I think it would be a great wheel color.

 

BlackSwan: Have your wheels painted. You will need to find a reputable shop to do it. But a good coat of color and clear will work well for you. I would not powdercoat as the heat is not good for the wheel. Stuarts in Dallas has a shop that charges $500 to do the work. It might even be worth the shipping cost to send them. They do good work and the paint on the outside comes back perfect. The inside of the wheel is good, but not factory good.
I am learning how to do this myself and did one set of wheels with a friend. They turned out great and are hard as a rock.

 

Well, thats subjective. However, a large % of GT3/RS owners purchased their car for track use only and find no value in the aesthetics you mentioned. 'Top range' cars as you referenced the 4.0, IMO Porsche NA is doing it right by allowing the buyer to spec their car based on their individual wants and needs.

 

That is one beautiful looking car !! I agree, I think Porsche is doing the right thing allowing the buyer to spec it the way they want it too but does look good with all the bells in whistles or most of them at least

 

For the RS 4.0 white and black are standard. As an option, Porsche will paint your car any other Porsche color currently offered or under their PTS, (Paint to sample) program and more $$ you can choose any color you wish.

I called four hours after this went up and the car is sold. Going abroad I believe. Would have beat you to it lol! Saw this car at the car show two years running, it's the owner of the dealership's car. I woul shave bought it in a heartbeat had I known. Shocked he is selling, but he does go through cars per my salesman.
