LP570 or 991 GT3?
I've recently came across a very good deal on a verde ithaca LP570. I was originally planning to allocate my budget for a 991 GT3. But the Lambo is pretty tempting as I've not owned a Lambo yet. The other concern is that the Gallardo replacement is coming very soon, and the LP570 is quite a dated looking car.
What do you guys think? Should I jump to the Lambo and wait for the GT3RS in 2 years?

Finally got the time to check out that LP570, and its sold already!!!
There are currently only 2 other LP570 in hk, one is a super trofeo or a performante which are both well over my budget.
What about 09 LP560? I found one that is well below my budget for the GT3, worth going for it and wait for the RS? I'm just worried that once the next gen Gallardo is out, the resale value of the LP560 will drop drastically! This happened with the 430 when the 458 came out.

If you keep thinking like that you will never buy, its like laptops, wait another month and there will be a faster/better one out- you will go mad!

Thats why I usually buy the latest/greatest at the very beginning. The same reason I want the 991 GT3. Just getting tempting to get a Lambo since I never owned one before and just notice the price for used ones are very affordable!
I'm gonna check out the LP560 later today and see if I go thru with the sale.

Ended up spending a little bit more than I expected on an used '10 Bianco Fuji 458 with black/red interior. 2 tone black roof and black wheels. Loved the color combo! It's the exact combo I'd spec a 458 if I brought one new!
Hopefully I can get it home by the end of next week when I'm back on a trip!!! I can't wait, this is my first F car!

The two cars are just not comparable. The Lambo is a brute, stunning but not a track car. The AWD changes the driving experience. I can understand wanting to live the Lambo life, and maybe you need to scratch that itch, but it's just a whole 'nuther thing. Finally, the current Lambo series is coming to an end with an all-new car being prepared. I do think you'll take a financial hit when that car debuts.
The 991 GT3 (RS) is supposed to be a spectacular car. Far better than the 997.2 (I own a 997.1 so accept my bias), and brings together the finesse of a light and fine steering system with a higher revving engine. It surely does not have the power of the LP, but it will have plenty. If you are a pure power/top-end/acceleration junky, the Lambo might be a better experience. But if you're going to drive it on the streets, the large glass open view from the ****pit of the 991 is unparalleled. No car that goes so fast, and corners so well, has the visibility and practicality of the 911. Nothing is close.
Good luck with whatever you do.
