so basically pwdrhound all i need is the adapters from brembo to make them work? Are you by any chance selling the wheels or any of the pieces you used to make the system work?

Also where is the best place to get a 997RS master for the fluid issue?? Finally do I run the same brake fluid or does that need to be changed as well??

Thanks so much, again I am looking at wheel options and I appreciate the help and responses from everyone. I am hoping to keep wheel costs below 3000$ total. (without tires) therefore if anyone is selling please let me know.
PM sent regarding everything you need for the conversion. I have a kit that has all the pieces. I am doing another conversion next week and can take some pictures.

Regarding the 997 master, you will need to have a custom 12mm/10mm line fabricated to go from the rear 12mm port on the 997 MC to the 10mm port on the ABS module. The reason is the fact that the smaller 996 MC has 12mm/10mm ports while the 997GT3 master has 12mm/12mm ports. I have several custom lines for use on the 996 Turbo but none for the GT3. you can obviously skip the 997 master but you will not have the same rock hard pedal as on the 997GT3. I can fabricate a 12mm/10mm line for you but I would need to have the original to copy.

For brake fluid I'd use Endless RF650 (stock issue for Cup cars) or Castrol SRF. I prefer Endless as it comes in 500ml bottles as opposed to SRF which only comes in 1L bottles. With Endless I only bleed the calipers every 5 or 6 track days. Great product....

As far as the wheels go, I would go for 18x9 and 18x12 in narrow body GT3 offsets. Bang for the buck, CCW is hard to beat, forged, extremely tough, track proven, and fairly light. GMG makes beautiful super high quality wheels but they are in a different price category. CCWs are right at $3K anodized and a couple of hundred more if powder coated. I have sold several sets over the last couple of years and everyone has been very happy. Hope that helps.

Those wheels are absolutely stunning, I just don't know if I should go all out with the wheels too since I am sure everyone knows how much just the brakes have been thus far haha!! A virtually new/used set of PCCB from a GEN is pricey.

Just hoping that if someone has any of these specific wheels for sale that will fit my 6GT3 let me know ASAP. I would prefer a used set however will more than likely go new if none can be found.

Any 19'' sets work will 996GT3 offsets and fitment?

Here is some info I received from the boys at 3M distributing who have some great customer service to say the least. This is some good info for everyone to have and hopefully you can help me out as well:

Hello again Sir,

Yes, please go for it!! We don't want to sell you wheels that won't fit either. And we only know the information based on experience and also based on what ADVAN tells us.

In the mean while, I'll have the guys pull the wheel to weight it.

Thank you,
3W Distributing

Again thanks for helping me out!

Is it ok if I post this onto my post so I can get some input from other guys on the forum who may be able to help out??? I bet someone out there knows for sure and if that's the case I will make the purchase.

Also What are the exact wheels weights?

Thanks again!

Hello again Tom,

Thank you for your valuable information. It's really hard for us to say 100% of the wheels will fit or not without a vehicle here to test. Currently we don't have a GT2/GT3/997 Turbo w/PCCB system we can test the wheels on. After speaking with ADVAD, they had mentioned that the wheels clear the Nissa GTR brakes with no issues. The GTR Front Rotors are 15". (380m)

I'm sorry for not being able to help out much size we've never tested these wheels on a PCCB setup before. But I can't image it not fitting your 996 w/PCCB if these wheels fit the GTR brakes.

Please let me know if I can further assist you.

Thank you,
Henry

Hey Henry!

Thanks again for the reply.

The only way for me to get the info is that same as you. Basically the set up is literally PCCB system from a 2011 GT3 RS (which are the same as the 997.1 or 2007-2008 GT3 RS system as well as GT3, 997 Turbo, etc). The front discs are 15" and the rears are 13.8. They will not fit factory 18" 2004 GT3 wheels.

So basically any 997 PCCB system from a GT3, GT2, Turbo from 2007-2012 model.

Hello Tom,

Thank you for replying back to our PM.

Please provide us the Caliper diagram and we can have AVDAN measure for clearance. This is the best way to guarantee that the wheel will fit. As for weight, we will provide you that information soon.

Please let me know if you can get us the needed information.

Thank you again for your time,
Henry

Thank you for the quick reply! Much appreciated

Can you quote me the wheel weights for my specs and also if you can guarantee me that they will clear the PCCB calipers of a GEN 2 set then I will more than likely make the move and purchase these.

If you can do some homework and find out for me that would be Great!

Tom

Hello,

Thank you for PMing us regarding the ADVAN TCIII wheels.

According to ADVAN, they are made to clear GT3 RS calipers.

As far as the width of the wheels, yes it will work, but as for offset, we can't be 100% unless we test fit the wheels.

But since the TCIII are made specifically for GTR RS setup, there is a good chance you wouldn't have an issue.

We can offer you the full set on clearance for $2200.00 shipped.

Please let us know if you have any more questions we can assist you with.
